First Cereal
Yea! Luke had his first spoon-fed meal. It was just a bit of rice cereal. He seemed to like it, but maybe he was just excited about trying to grab the spoon. Anyway, it was a success.

but I haven't gotten it from her yet. Then I can bring this downstairs and he can just sit in it. The walker is kind of cumbersome.
Also, last night he went to bed at 9:30pm, woke up at 11:30pm and we put him right back to sleep. Then he slept till 5am! I'm pleased with that progress. Can't say whether it was because he went to be later or what. Maybe we'll try closer to a 9pm bedtime instead of 8pm.
And here are some pictures of him the other day when we went outside to plant some plants.
I went to the trouble of carrying his walker downstairs. A friend is going to lend me one of these

That was quite a sight with the feeding last night. I wonder if that also contributed to the longer sleeping??
I think putting him to bed a little later also helped. I actually thought to myself while I was sleeping last night that I hadn't heard anything from Luke yet and how strange that was.
Okay, so I'm commenting before watching the video but yay for his first cereal session! And I love it when he wears that hat. :)
I love this blog!!! It's like everyone's there with you, so awesome! I love Luke too, he's the most handsome baby boy EVAH!~ or until Greg and I have a baby boy...
He is So sweet. My heart swells.

I really cracked up the way he attacked the food. Ashlee, only a loving Aunt would use her own hand as a "bib" nice job, but I'd keep my fingers away during his eating frenzy.

i personally believe he slept longer because the cereal lasted longer in his tummy... yay!! it was so awesome to see his facial reaction to his first spoon-fed meal...
